Parish End of Life Issues Committee ChairmanJob Description
Attend pertinent Respect Life Diocesan meetings, educational programs, and orientation session.
Formulate an educational plan with your pastor to initiate educational programs, such as panel discussions, guest speakers, handouts, and bulletin inserts/articles.
Act as a liaison/resource person in your parish, dealing with questions and comments of parishioners regarding end-of-life issues.
Utilize Diocesan committee chairperson for any areas where you may need assistance or clarification. Utilize educational resources as needed, such as selected books and videotapes, some of which may be available from the Respect Life Department.
Integrate this ministry into your prayer life and encourage others to do so.
